Lymphoma Cancer

                                       LYMPHOMA

Lymphoma is a lymphatic cancer. it strikes the white blood cells. It attacks the lymph nodes, so there will be swollen glands but eventually it can travels through blood system and attacks other organs like liver, and lungs. Lymphoma usually attacks young children aged 15 to 24 but it can be cured. There are two types of lymphoma, Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin.

SYMPTOMS

The main symptoms are swollen glands on the neck, armpits or groin. However, glands usually swell during cold but it will disappear. Lymphoma swollen glands won't withdraw after months. Other symptoms are night sweats, fever, chills, fatigue, loss of weight and appetite.

Doctors can't identify the cause of this cancer yet, but this type of cancer is more common among young men, with higher socioeconomic status, but what I have seen lately socioeconomic status doesn't apply anymore. People from the village also suffered lymphoma.

Lymphoma is usually treatable, there are high percentage of lymphoma survivors. Just remember to seek medical consultation whenever you feel something is not right.
